La.dy.like Experimental Art Project Presents:

Unapologetically Femme

A Defiant Celebration of the Complexities of Femininity.

Unapologetically Femme brings together a multi-disciplinary group of Twin Cities-based female, femme, and queer-identifying artists. Through various mediums, the exhibition explores the multifaceted nature of femininity and the ways in which it intersects with other identities and experiences. Through their work, these artists challenge the notion that femininity is a static, inherent characteristic and invite our audience to consider how it is an ever-evolving system. We are excited to present this exceptional exhibition and showcase the talent of local artists in the Twin Cities community.

Featuring Artists

Katayoun Amajadi, Andrea Bagdon, Hannah Chatham, Paola Evangelista, Spencer Legendre-Gillespie, Lora Hlavsa, Alonzo Pantoja, Anika Schneider, Kelsi Sharp, and Sarah Maricha White.

LADYLIKE EXPERIMENTAL ART PROJECT RECEIVES 2023 MRAC GRANT FOR ARTS ACCESS

Ladylike’s experimental art project was launched by St. Paul interdisciplinary artists and educators: Andrea Bagdon (she/her) and Spencer Gillespie (she/they). Bagdon and Gillespie debuted their collaborative artwork in a self-titled exhibit at the St. Paul LUA Gallery in July of 2022.

Ladylike’s mission is to collaborate with and give a platform to female, femme, and queer-identifying artists to grow a broader audience for their work and expand a creative dialog with the Twin Cities arts community.

Grant funding for the Ladylike Exhibits 2023 program will support continuing exhibitions, curatorial opportunities, and educational workshops featuring local female, femme, and queer-identifying artists.
